Our QMS expert said that in theory this should be a normal server upgrade followed by a Compliance Kit upgrade following the guidance in Upgrading M-Files Compliance Kit. It's recommended to take backups before attempting any upgrade and you may also want to test the upgrade process first in a non-production environment.
