Connector to Atlassian Confluence (and jira)

Does someone already develops a connector to Atlassian Confluence where most of our internal documentation is placed in?

(indexing in M-Files, Add-In for Confluence to integrate M-Files views etc.)

Same question for Jira: indexing information given in tickets including states (done->closed - or rejected etc.), import tickets according to a filter as M-Files objects, reading out project information for using it within a M-Files project management etc.

If not: Who would be interested in that?

  • This only works for cloud installations of Jira? We have an onPrem installation of Jira and Confluence in our intranet behind the firewall.

  • Sounds good - both, tray.io and cdata. Other possibility would be creating an external repository connector via C# as described on developer portal by Craig. Ole DB integration is a good Feature of the January or February update - don't remember exactly.

Do you have designed use cases supported by the implementation of M-Files? Would it be possible to get in touch according to the software design including use cases and implementation? Would be good if we can push this topic because most of our content is currently in our onPrem Confluence installation behind our firewall - that means that the main idea of M-Files would not be fulfilled if we leave out including these contents.
