Data glitch

Hi All,

I currently have a company file with data/documents in M-Files that if searched for by using the a "documents by company" choose from list search, it shows containing 28 number of documents. However if a manual search is done, the company then shows up with all the actual number of the 77+ files it truly contains.

Any idea why this is happening?

    In the evening when I look at the sky I see only a few stars, when I look through the telescope I see 1000+ stars.

    Just kidding, with your question like that and without enough information about the architecture and what you want to achieve,

    no one would be able to give you a meaningful answer.

    One possible reason could be the direction of the relations. In the grouped View you will only see relations going in one direction. Depending on how the manual search is done it may show results based on relations in both direction.

    Another reason could be differences in other filter settings.

    Like No0TR0n said, we don't know exactly what you are doing in either case....

    That method worked. I made a change in how the data was grouped as related to the company file they were linked to.
