is it possible to do the search on the particular view

I have created seperate view for my vault. while doing api search i want to do the quick search on the particular view which i have created. is there any way i can define the view in my api call? currentlly it is c hecking the full vault .

One method that could work is ' SearchForObjectsByExportedSearchConditions'. 
 You get the conditions from the client while in the view, hit Alt on the keyboard then go to File > Export Conditions. That will give you a text string that can be used with that function to search using the same view settings.
