Anyone willing to write a Fluent Search Plugin?

It looks like you could write a plugin that wraps the REST API at a minimum, perhaps also the COM API.  I think the main concern would be around authentication.

I haven't used this myself.  Interesting tool.

Just looked at (https://fluentsearch.net/posts/c-plugins-developer-guide) myself, and yes perhaps even one could just throw in the COM API interop, connect to a specific vault and bobs your uncle.

I did take a *very* quick look and I had some questions around authentication and configuration and the like (the sample applications seemed to expose configuration data, but without testing I couldn't work out how it was exposed).  It is possible that the COM API might work directly in client mode.  If so then that'd be slick, assuming you had your vault connections set up to auto-login.

I like the idea a lot.

Is that necessarily a problem?  It seems like fluent search only supports Windows 10 and 11, and you can reference COM on .NET 5.0 on Windows.

OK! I am yet to figure out all the inner workings of how plugins work, but I did manage to reference the COM in the project, get results and display them in Fluent search. Mind you, this is super rough haha:
