Hello, I need to externally call a scheduled job. The only way I see is using this COM API. https://www.m-files.com/api/documentation/index.html#MFilesAPI~VaultScheduledJobManagementOperations.html That leads me to some questions: Is the COM API the best/only way? Is there really no way to call the scheduled jobs using its alias? In the COM API, I can't see a way to resolve that kind of alias https://www.m-files.com/api/documentation/index.html#MFilesAPI~Vault~GetMetadataStructureItemIDsByAliases.html Do I need to set up an authentification. I know how but I don't really care because everybody can trigger this job. Thanks, Amaury

How to start a scheduled job by script

Hello,

I need to externally call a scheduled job. The only way I see is using this COM API.

That leads me to some questions:

Is the COM API the best/only way?
Is there really no way to call the scheduled jobs using its alias? In the COM API, I can't see a way to resolve that kind of alias https://www.m-files.com/api/documentation/index.html#MFilesAPI~Vault~GetMetadataStructureItemIDsByAliases.html
Do I need to set up an authentification. I know how but I don't really care because everybody can trigger this job.
