Modify View Extension Code

Question

Hi, 
 is it possible to modify the View Extension Code myself? 
 
 "C:\Program Files\M-Files\23.1.12196.5\Client\Apps\{6372279E-126F-431A-983D-5FA06A7BD98A}\2\{224668EF-5C9F-437E-B278-B6775691F08E}" 
 
 One thing I'd like to change is that I don't need to specify an Object Type as Source so I can show a Tab for every Class independent from the Object Type..

The view extensions aren't open-source, to my knowledge. Alteration of them is not supported. 
 You can obviously ask for an improvement request to be logged, but there's no guarantee on timeframe that it'd be completed in.
