M-Files equivalent to @mention

I am curious if there is an M-Files equivalent to @mention. Where a user could @mention another user in the Comments of a document and it would trigger an email notification. Does anyone know of anything?

All I have found is to have the user add a Comment for the next user and then change the Assigned To field.

    @mentions are under development and we are currently estimating that these would be available in Q1/2024. This feature will be first introduced in M-Files Web, the plans for the desktop client are not yet confirmed. I recommend following the product news here on M-Files Community to see when this enhancement is released.
