Optimize Vault Database

Hi all,

We are experiencing an error for our customer wherein one vault is not able to complete the optimization database task.

I am planning to raise ticket to support but just to check here as well in case anyone had similar experience. 

We have already done the below steps before asking the question here.

 

  • Step 1 Optimise Database Quick = Successful
  • Step 2 Optimise DatabaseThorough = Unsuccessful (Stuck at step 4 out of 12 steps)
  • Step 2 Verify and Repair Quick = Successful 
  • Step 3 Verify and Repair Thorough = Successful
  • Restarted server and re-run Optimise Database Thorough = Unsuccessful at step 4

    Hey, 

    Make sure there's enough room on hard drive of the document vault. Estimate 2.5x the actual vault space required. 

    Also, is this a Firebird vault, or SQL Server based vault? 

    Any information at the server's Windows event viewer at application section regarding to failed optimization? 

    What version of M-Files Server is used ?

    Hi,

    I already in contact with the support team. 
    We are still working on the issue.

    But just to share some of the details:

    • Database:- Firebird
    • M-files Version:-  21.3.10021.4
    • Windows O/S:- Win server 2012
