I have already forwarded this issue to M-Files support. However, I just wanted to share it here in case anyone might have encountered the same issue before.

We are having an issue when trying to launch the M-Files Desktop Setting in the server.

  • Hi,

We are experiencing the same issue with files that were not originaly created in the current vault.

    - cloned production vault database (files are stored in folder) creates correct structure in "M:" (multiple subfolders with different vault GUIDs) and we can open / pre-view files

    - production vault does not create all the necessary subfolders and displays the above error

Funny thing is that cloned test vault was created (Attach Document Vault ... as new identity) from database backup of production vault and some files needed for actual testing.

    Regards,

    Luka
