Spell Check

out of the box, we do not offer such a feature - at least for now. 

How about if you try with a 3rd party spell-checking software? 

I am aware of at least two of those - Microsoft Editor and Grammarly, which latter one has also a desktop app that should enable general spell checking. However, we've not tested these. We use Grammarly for other purposes, but we are not allowed to use the desktop app. 

I will also file an improvement idea report about this for our R&D - Thank you for the idea!  

The improvement report has been created. The ID of it is #164475. If this gets implemented at some point, it will be listed in the M-Files Release notes.

I have noticed that even though we don't have external software Windows 11 performs spell checking when data is entered (after pressing space), however, it doesn't trigger when not in edit mode or after editing a field (only identifies errors when first entered). Sounds like a great idea to incorporate more complete spell checking into M-Files!
