This is good question, I am not aware those could be adapted but hope someone let us know if this is possible.
I don't think it's possible to modify the default text for the required properties unfortunately. Could you perhaps add a tooltip or a description field instead to give the user more information about…
So this is a language issue? Have they changed their software language? At least when I change my software language to French, this is the message I get for required properties:
