Hi Joonas,
any god news about an useable 2FA for our M-Files webapps ?
nice Weekend

The current way is to configure federated authentication with an IdP that provides 2FA capabilities. This is working fine for many customers and we are using 2FA also internally that way. I haven't heard of any plans for an alternative solution, sorry.

1. Configure M-Files to use federated authentication with the IdP. For Azure AD, documentation in the user guide. For other IdPs, see Configuring OpenID Connect and OAuth 2.0 for M-Files Authentication.
2. Enable MFA in the IdP's configuration. Check the IdP vendor's documentation on how to do that, e.g. Microsoft documentation for Azure AD.
