M-Files Web - missing Relationships feature

It seems actually M-Files Web missing a key fonctionnal capabilities: Relationships (adding relationships to a specific object version, creating relationships between objects ...). Lot of our clients is asking to have this feature in M-Files Web.

Is it planned to include this feature in a near future in classic m-fiels web ? Is there a plan for that and maybe a date to deliver it ?
Does M-Files have a dedicated place or form to push for development / feature wishes in the next release ?

  • The classic M-Files Web is in maintenance mode so likely no new features will be added to that client anymore. The development focus is on the new M-Files Web and getting it closer to feature parity with the other clients. You can check the currently supported features in each client from M-Files Feature Comparison. It seems that adding relationships is only supported in the desktop client at the moment.

    For feature requests, you can use this forum to post those. We are planning to open a dedicated place for those, perhaps with a possibility to browse and vote for the requests from other users, but that's still in early stages so nothing more to announce at this point.

    M-Files is a great product. Customers sometimes ask for improvements or small changes: so yes It could be good to have a dedicated place for feature requests and votes. Best regards.
