For my Users, we have objects representing legal entities that wind up with very long names: Entity A with Nominee Entity B for the benefit of Entity C. Where Entity A and B will be repeated for many Entity C's. The problem is "Entity A with Nominee Entity B for the benefit of" is generally more than 100 characters long. We use a MultiLine Text Field as the Name/Title for these objects to get us the characters we need. However, now when trying to associate a Document metadata "Choose List" field with these objects, you cannot identify which entity you want because the first 100 characters that are shown are not unique. Further, you can only "search" via the drop-down against the first 100 characters which are all that's loaded into the control.
Is there a way to work around this or some registry or other configuration value that can effect this, or is the Client UI fundamentally loading everything into a MFilesText property and therefore always truncating the content.
I find the 100 Character Limit of "Text" to be an extremely small limit that seems an odd and arbitrary choice.
