M-Files Connector for Copilot 24.9 out now

M-Files Connector for Copilot 24.9 out now

A new version of M-Files Connector for Copilot has been released.

The M-Files Connector for Copilot allows users to ask Copilot questions of content from within the M-Files vault. The content exposed to Copilot can be configured, and there is no need to create additional copies of documents while retaining all privacy, security, and compliance commitments.

The 24.9 update contains improvements for security and performance.

Release notes:
Defect: Access control list in Microsoft Graph may not be correct
ID: T-171378
Symptom: Because of incorrect ACL calculations, in certain situations, the access control list of an object sent to the Microsoft Graph may not be identical to the object in M-Files.
Solution: Fixed.  Changes in M-Files Server and Copilot connector.

Improvement: User ID mappings are cached
ID: T-171629
Symptom: When an internal M-Files user ID is converted to a Graph user ID, one query to the vault and one to the Graph are made. Whilst this mapping is static, the data is not cached.
Solution: Mapping cached, improving performance especially in larger scenarios.

M-Files Connector for Copilot is included in the Business edition, and can be downloaded from M-Files Catalog.
