Critical regression found and fixed in Dec'21 Update, Monthly Cloud Update 19th December cancelled, Auto-updates for and manual downloads now online
- Critical regression has been found in New Web functionality in M-Files Dec'21 Update.
- Fix for this issue has been already identified and we are in process of building & testing new version of M-Files Dec'21 Update already
- However, due to this issue, general M-Files Dec'21 Update to Cloud Customers tomorrow Sunday 19th Dec is cancelled. Next planned full-scale Global Cloud Update will be on 16th Jan 2022 but some most critical Cloud Customers migth needed to be updated separately prior that.
- For On-premises Customers and for M-Files Client Auto-Updates a new patched version of M-Files Dec'21 Update is now online and available.

- OAuth support for External Mail Sources (Google Mail)
- You can now set external mail sources that use Google Mail to use OAuth authentication for better security.
- Anonymous login for the new M-Files Web and M-Files Mobile
- You can now set vaults to use anonymous login in the vault authentication settings in M-Files Admin. M-Files Desktop and the classic M-Files Web do not use this setting.
- This lets you easily create vaults that people without an M-Files account can access with the new M-Files Web or M-Files Mobile.
- Electronic signatures in the new M-Files Web
- Electronic signatures are now also supported in the new M-Files Web.
- To use the feature, you must enable WebSocket Protocol in Web Server Role (IIS) Services.
- Theming support for the new M-Files Web
- You can now change the appearance of the user interface for the new M-Files Web. This lets you brand the user interface, for example, with a company logo and a color theme.
- You can find the appearance options in Advanced Vault Settings > Client > Web > Appearance.
- Multi-Server Mode support for M-Files Compliance Kit
- The new version of M-Files Compliance Kit supports Multi-Server Mode. This enables a wide range of use cases also for large environments.
