Welcome to M-Files Hubshare June 2023 Product Update,
We are always committed to enhancing our platform to provide the best user experience possible. Now, we are thrilled to introduce our most recent updates, which were rolled out in June.
M-Files Hubshare Release
Exporting and importing hub configurations:
- It is now possible to export and import hub configurations. You can import hub configurations to one or many hubs at the same time. You can also create new hubs and hub templates with the imported hub configurations.
Improved object relationships in M-Files widgets:
- You can now see the object relationships when you expand the object. With the new M-Files widgets, object relationships are by default shown also for Document type objects.
Configuring separate URLs for REST and gRPC APIs is allowed:
- It is now possible to configure separate URLs for REST and gRPC APIs when you configure a connection from M-Files Hubshare to an M-Files vault.
Load more pagination system is consistently used in M-Files widgets:
- The Load more pagination system is now consistently used in M-Files widgets. However, some features, for example, document collections, still use other pagination systems.
Links are opened from M-Files widgets:
- When you click a link in an M-Files widget, the link is opened in your browser.
Possibility to use Czech as the UI language.
- You can now use Czech as the UI language.
M-Files Hubshare can be installed on Windows Server 2022 machine:
- You can now install M-Files Hubshare on a Windows Server 2022 machine.
M-Files Hubshare can be installed on-premises:
- You can now install M-Files Hubshare on a machine without internet connection. For more information, refer to Installing M-Files Hubshare in On-Premises Environments.
Giving hub admin rights to user groups:
- You can now give hub admin rights to a user group. All the users in that user group will then have hub admin rights in the hub.
Two user groups cannot have the same name:
- When you give a name for a user group, you cannot give it a name that another user group already has.
Improved UI of M-Files Hubshare license information:
- The license section in Settings > Company now shows more information.
M-Files Plugin for Hubshare Release
Possibility to set UI language for users:
- In M-Files, you can now set the UI language of M-Files Hubshare users. For external users, you can set the language option when the user is created, but you cannot change it later. For internal users, you can set the UI language when the user is created, but you can also change it later.
New logging system:
- The previous logging system was not compatible with all the necessary environments.
Improved API error messages:
- More detailed API error messages are now shown when necessary.
Possibility to use a configuration file in the plugin configuration:
- In the M-Files Catalog, you can now find a package that helps you to configure the M-Files plugin for Hubshare faster. The package includes a replication package with the required metadata elements and corresponding configuration .json file.
Service account information is checked:
- In the plugin configuration, an email address and an access token are asked for the service account. The plugin now checks if the email address and access token are for the same M-Files Hubshare user.
