M-Files Hubshare Release
We're excited to announce the upcoming release of Hubshare (v5.0.12) in January 2025. Today, we're thrilled to share the details of what's new in this version!
Main changes and improvements
Add distinction to object with or without documents
We introduce a new way to differentiate objects and documents with or without files: this would help the day to day usage of the product, and will improve productivity for end-users. As this would create a more consistent and seamless user experience from M-Files to Husbare.
Export / Import technology: include widget positions in dashboard module
Widget positioning is an important information when you build your dashboard pages, even more when using hub templates. Later on, when your dashboard pages content is updated at the template level, and widget positions have changed, you want to be sure the new positions will kept and used also when you export and import your template configuration to apply it to hubs.
Export / Import technology: include Useful link widget in the export package
Useful link widget is common used widget that was not yet supported in the export / import packages. We now introduce it and support it as well. Other widgets could be added later on this year, please do not hesitate to reach out to us to help us to determine the most important one to add.
Other improvements
Public / Self registry option in hub now supports creating internal user accounts on the fly
We've updated the selft hub access registry option: Hub admins will now see a modal with options to create internal or external users, based on Company admin role they may have and domain filtering rules.
