"It turns out that Desktop Co-authoring is not yet available in the North Europe region where your vault is located.
It will get enabled at some point in the future, but I can't give a better estimate at this time."

Sorry for the vague answer from M-Files Support. The latest information has been updated to the Desktop Co-Authoring FAQ document:

M-Files is rolling out desktop co-authoring for M-Files Cloud in phases based on geographical regions. Desktop co-authoring will be available in most regions during April 2025 and in all regions by the end of May 2025. Changes to plans may occur. For news about availability, refer to M-Files Community.
