Hi,
I am trying to re-create a view where I use InitialGroup (Name or title) as a grouping level, to result in a view like this...
I have the same filter settings, it's the same set of documents, but for some reason 'InitialGroup()' is not an available option to group by in my new view. It seems that for any grouping level I am unable to select 'InitialGroup()'. Does anyone have an idea why I can't select this, when previously I found it? Am I missing something?

Hi
It sounds like you're expecting `InitialGroup()` to be available as metadata, but that's not the case. To achieve a similar view, just use the "Group by First letter(s)" option instead.

Thank you, that is what I was missing. M-Files automatically adds it as a grouping level.
I think that by looking at the grouping level properties 'group by' I was expecting to see it as an option to select.
