Is it possible to convert User Groups to objects, to set a filter in another property?

Hello,

We have two properties that are filled with user groups. The user groups are divided in two types relating to information security and project users. 

In the value list, there is an option to convert the list to an object. Is there such an option in the user groups?

This way we could add a property to the user groups objects: type of group. This property would be used as a filter user groups objects.
