Opening a .mflink document in the opened MFiles windows

Hello, 

The M-Files users regularly send the related M-Files document by using .mflink as attachment.
However, when someone opens the associated document, it opens in a new M-Files window.

Is there a possibility to open in the M-Files window that is already open ? 
I found no option seemingly related to that, yet I still hold hope that something like that exist, maybe in the registry.
