Text indexing of AutoCAD DWG files in Vault connected with SQL Server 2017

Hi people,

We need to index DWG files to be searchable in M-files, we are using an m-files Vault connected to a SQL Server 2017.

I installed DWG IFilter 4.0 in Windows explorer the content search works perfectly, but in M-files Desktop it doesn't.

Any tips on the subject?

    No promises made, but it might be worth trying to add "dwg" in Advanced Vault Settings, Search, File Extensions To Index.

    Give the indexing service a day before you determine whether it helped or not.
