Copy Assignment reject comment to a property

You can use the auto-calculation feature in the Managed Properties module to copy the latest comment to a property on the metadata card, sample rule below. Note that this will copy the latest comment regardless of whether it comes from an assignment rejection or any other situation as there isn't a way to identify the context.

Managed Properties is part of the free Configuration Accelerators add-on and delivered in the Compliance Kit vault application.

I'm not aware of a way to make the comment mandatory in the dialog that pops up when the assignment is completed.

Is "Calculation Rules) a new item in the Compliance Kit? I don't see it under configuration. We are currently on M-Files 2018(21.6.10322.8).

You should be able to add these rules under Managed Properties > Auto Calculated Properties.
