Hyperlink doesn't work after we convert it to PDF

Question

I have a word document that has some hyperlinks to web pages. When I click on the hyperlinks of the documents, it opens the browser. I then use the Convert to PDF (replaces original file) M-Files function. The links no longer work. 
 However, if I run through a workflow, the hyperlink does work. 
 Is there any solutions to make the hyperlink works when we do Client-Side Conversion?

This is a known issue with the third-party component we use for client-side PDF conversion. We are looking into switching to a different component at some point which should resolve this problem but we are unable to give an estimate on when this might happen. The related issue IDs are 94285 and 128483, either or both of them should be listed in the release notes once the component has been changed. 
 For the time being, use server-side conversion via a workflow or with the PDF Processor module as a workaround if possible.
