I seem to be experiencing an issue with the search bar. If I start from the ALL screen, I can query as normal. If I attempt to run another query, the search just goes on forever. The ability to run a new query seemingly "resets" when I return to the ALL screen.

Hi, this sounds like a search engine or indexing related issue. Have you contacted M-Files Support yet?

This is old feature, also with previous UI: You can run one search and after that you'll need to select Home or All before next search. 

Can you tell me which search engine you are using (dtSearch, IDOL, or Smart Search)? This isn't the way search is supposed to be working, but there could be some bug or performance related issue.

Thanks. Does this happen with all vaults or with just the big ones? dtSearch has known performance limitations when it comes to bigger vaults with millions or just several hundreds of thousands of objects.

It was an intermittent issue. I upgraded PCs recently (Win 10 pro > Win 11 pro), and the issue seems to have fixed itself.

BTW the vaults we have range from 5K > 425K documents. The larger vaults are all running on MS SQL 2017. Fairly certain we are on dtsearch, as we are online, on premise.
