Property auto-fill for same object type

This is not currently supported, auto-fill only works with different types of objects. We have recorded an improvement request (ID 104504) to add this possibility.

Hi Joonas, we also would like this possibility. It becomes necessary as we use M-Files more and more!

I've added you as a requestor for the improvement. Note that if the auto-filling doesn't have to happen dynamically but can be done on the server when the changes are saved, there may already exist solutions with Managed Properties or Property Calculator add-ons.

We use Property Calculators to achieve this for specific classes and that is fine for some documents but for other documents dynamic auto-filling would be better as the information is instantly shown before the document is saved/created
