How to set the "duplicate column / property" for an object type / class?

Hey Folks 
 I have an OT CRA (Customer Risk Assessment) and would like to have a maximum of one CRA created per customer. Therefore I tried to set the customer as "name". How do I manage to trigger a duplicate check for an OT or to prevent that not more than one CRA is created for a customer.

Could you use the Unique Object Enforcement module from the CK? It's included in the free Configuration Accelerators licence . Configuration is detailed in the CK Configuration Guide.
