Custom icon for a View?

In a scenario where there are a list of common views but say two are of higher importance, is there any method to change the icon for a single view from  ?

Thanks

  • Changing the view icon is not supported at the moment. A couple of tricks to consider:

    • You can number the views so that they are sorted with the most important views at the top. For instance, "0. The most important view", "1. The second most important view" and so on.
    • You should also be able to use emojis in the view name in case that would highlight them visually.
  • But Tricks aside, isn't this an Improvement worth to consider (Change View Icons)? ;)

  • I would like this possibility too (custom icons for Views).

Also, just on Joonas' comment about 'forcing' the order of Views by using placeholders such as '0', '1' etc., - it would be useful if there was some kind of 'Priority' option for Common Views under the View Properties. That way Views could be prioritized by the Administrator in the background (similar to the way properties can be prioritised under the MDCC). That way then one wouldn't have to rely on tricks or workarounds to 'force' the priority of Views.
