Requirements for publishing applications, VAF

Anyone can build a vault application framework application.  There are no restrictions to installing those applications on-premises or on isolated M-Files Cloud instances.

We do offer - for partners - both developer training and certification options.  You can reach out to your Partner Manager for more information.

If you are producing a "productised" solution that you maybe want to sell then you may also want to allow your application to be run on the standard M-Files Cloud instances.  For these there is a validation and signing process that you will need to go through.  There is some more information here: The Vault Application Framework in the M-Files Cloud.  If you are looking to create a productised solution then also please reach out to Alix Haigh who manages our Solution Partner program and can talk to you about getting your solution listed on the M-Files Catalog.
