Find day of the date

I don't think such as an option exists in Compliance Kit or core M-Files. You may need to write this as a custom extension (VAF/scripting) unless someone can suggest an existing add-on which includes such functionality.

I'd definitely try to use PC if you can rather than scripting.

That said, I think the poster wanted the day name, which has a string format of "dddd" (you can see them here: Custom date and time format strings - .NET | Microsoft Learn), but otherwise this is an excellent answer.
