M-Files Hubshare View Permissions Issue

Hi all,

We’re facing an issue in Hubshare: in this particular view, all object levels are visible, even for users who don’t have permission to access the documents.

Our goal is to ensure that only the virtual folders to which a user has access are displayed.

Does anyone know how we can resolve this? We have already read the manual.

    Hello,

    The views widget can display views and grouping folders, and the metadata filtering is not having impact on those.

    We filter the content (objects, documents) with what you set in the metadata filters, but for the views and/or grouping levels, you will need to use the "view filter" tab in the widget configuration.

    That can be filtered manually or with some Hubshare related data (example: the name of the user group matches the name of the virtual folder).
