Creating new documents - how to manage that

Hi,

as it turns out, Aino is great for suggesting the metadata values from the document content and for preparing the summaries. What is can not do (and it looks like it will be like that for quite some time) is creating documents. Creating documents based on a prompt or from existing documents.

I have a case, where I would need also tha feature. How did you solve that? Beside having the Aino for the things is can do... Did you use Copilot (and MF Copilot Connector)?

    If you wish to create a new document based on the summary or similar output from Aino on an existing document or group of documents it should be fairly simple to create a workflow that takes the content of a multi-line text property created by Aino on one document and merge that content into a template and create a new document.

    That might not be what you are looking for. Perhaps you can be a bit more specific in describing the desired process?

    Thanks for the reply. Basically I would use a MS Word template with MF fields. And I would fill these fields in M-Files based on Aion configuration? That could work :)

    So, the question that remains unanswered is how to create a draft of a document just with a prompt. As a case could be: I have a lawsuit, create a draft of the document...
