M-Files Integration Check

Hello,

Recent IP address changes caused an incident where Hubshare could no longer retrieve data from M-Files. The issue is now resolved.
I have now configured blog notifications by email to stay informed of future changes.
Is there a recommended way to monitor the M-Files integration (e.g. via the Hubshare API or another method) to detect such issues ?

    What you can monitor, and how, depends on your specific goals, your environment, and, in case of self-hosted M-Files deployments, your local network and access policies.

    If your objective is simply to verify that M‑Files is online, and there are no IP‑based restrictions etc. in place, one practical option is to use a third‑party uptime service (e.g., Pingdom) to monitor a REST endpoint such as /REST/session/serverconnectionstatus.aspx.

    That said, multiple factors influence what's feasible in practice. Your system configuration, network topology, and security controls may affect which endpoints you can probe and how you should structure the monitoring.
