Accessing configuration JSON via the API

Hello, is there a way, using the API, to retrieve the JSON for each of the configuration nodes (Advance Vault Settings, Custom Vault Data, etc.). Looking to back up complex configurations unless they are saved when a vault is backed up (as far as I know they are not).

Thanks Craig, I will take a look! I believe they are, but the question came up from the team to see if there was a way to do "on demand" backups before major changes.
