Searching Old Vesions

Question

I am using MFSearchFlagLookInAllVersions in a search but the result is not returning objects that match the search criteria in pervious versions even though their current version isn't a match. Does anyone know wht this might be?

At least make sure that the properties you are using as search conditions have the "Do not search for old object versions" option unselected in the property definition settings.
