Hi guys
A client of ours wants to use Edge Browser as the default Program for PDF Files so that he can use the benefits of Microsoft Copilot within Edge.
We realized that as soon as you check-out / open a second file from M-Files (which is by default opened as a second tab in the already open Edge-Browser-Window), the first document is being closed / checked-in automatically (depending on the user-setting within m-files desktop settings), which prevents further editing of the first document as it is read-only from this point on forward. Is there a way to prevent this behaviour, so that the first document is not automatically closed / checked-in?
In Adobe Acrobat there is the option to disable the "Safe-mode", which lets you save edited PDF Files directly into M-Files, I didn't find a similar setting within Edge up until now.
Did anyone ever face / resolved this issue?
