I am using a property - Part Numbers - that uses automatic values from the Compliance Kit>Utilities>Sequences.
I have created a separate property to 'Skip Numbering' so the Compliance kit does not number the object if this property is set to YES. The purpose of this is to allow us to manually number a few objects outside of the sequence (IE - when porting legacy Part Numbers into our new system).
Unfortunatley, it seems compliance kit will only work if the PN Property is set to Automatic Values by application or VBScript. When set this way, even an administrator cannot edit the property. I was able to hack it a bit by changing the property to have no automatic value, which seemed to work until I went to make an edit in the configuration, at which point the Compliance Kit would not restart the module (without reverting the property).
Does anyone know a way around this?
