Send daily notifications based on metadata

Hi all, 
 One of our customers needs to send daily notifications within a workflow once a document match a certain criteria. 
 We understand that it&rsquo;s possible to configure notifications in the Classic Deskto, but these cannot be defined based on metadata. Is there any way to configure this?

You can set up notification rules based on metadata in both the classic and the new M-Files Desktop (starting with the March '26 release in the new client). 
 The user guide has an example on how to send daily reminders on the same objects as long as they match the defined criteria: Example: Reminder messages for contracts 
 If you would like this to happen based on the workflow state, you would use the workflow and the state in the notification rule filter.
