Document Collections workflow in the new client

I am currently experiencing a difference in the way document collections are handled between the old and the new client, and I would like to share my feedback on this.

In the old client, it was possible to open a separate window by double-clicking on a document collection. In this window, I could easily add documents using drag & drop. For me, this was an efficient and intuitive way of working, especially when managing larger numbers of documents.

In the new client, this functionality seems to be missing. Instead, I now have to explicitly assign each document to a document collection. This makes the process less user-friendly and significantly more time-consuming. Additionally, selecting the correct document collection becomes difficult when there are many collections available.

Are there any plans to bring back the previous workflow (with a separate window and drag & drop functionality) in the new client?

In my opinion, the current method can remain available as an alternative, but I strongly prefer the previous way of working due to its usability.
