Doucment collections export

Dear all,
(my first post)

we need to produce datapackages, which shall then be sent out. My idea was to use document collections to "link" the necessary files together, but I can't find a way to export collections. Is there an experienced user who can help me? May be I took a wrong approach?

  • Yes, the Export command is not available in the Collection Members dialog box. In this respect, document collections suffer poor usability a bit. As a workaround, you can copy the members of a collection out from M-Files. If you need to export metadata as well, can you set some new property for the member documents so that you can filter/group the documents in views. The Export command is available inside views.
