New Web Client Configuration

Question

Hi All, 
 Has anyone had any success modifying the look/theme of the new web client? I saw a post referencing the possibility of doing via updating the JSON files (see below). I'm working with a customer and they would like the new web client to present in a 'no frills' way ie. No search bar, breadcrumbs and even hiding the metadata card and preview tabs (opening the document via double click only) and just showing specific documents in a view.

I haven't personally heard of anyone finding a way how to do that. If they just want a list of documents, perhaps it would make more sense to develop a custom web app that accessed M-Files via the API and retrieves documents that way than trying to hack the official client to do something it's not supposed to do.

M-Files Web appearance can be modified via Advanced Vault Settings but this only supports changing the look and feel, not hiding elements of the user interface. There's no official or supported way to hide elements from the UI.
