Why is the favorite tab gone?

How can you remove the favorite tab without any notice? 
 Now I'm not even able to move them to the damn pinned section (which was a major failure). 
 Pretty god damn tiered to use lots of time to fix problems you create.

You can still access your favorites via All > Other Views > Favorites. From there you can move these objects to the Pinned tab (right-click > Move from Favorites to Pinned).
