Good day everyone.
Our one customer implemented Email Aliases on some of their O365 Exchange accounts. When we connect to the account using Outlook, we can see the emails that were sent to either of the aliases.
We have configured an Email Source in the vault and have been importing the emails sent to the original address for an extended period of time. M-Files can still connect to the O365 account using the EntraID credentials but is only importing the email items equal to the original email and configuration as setin in M-Files vault external mail connection. The emails in the Inbox sent to the other alias are not imported.
So lets say the original address was willing@work.com and an alias was configured in O365 exchange for this account and is called able@home.com.
Everything works fine on the mail delivery and the Emails sent to either of these addresses are delivered and exist in the Inbox folder.
Our O365 config in the M-Files vault is set to import from willing@work.com/Inbox.
On mail import / refresh, only emails in the Inbox which was sent to the original mailbox are being imported to M-Files. The emails sent to able@home.com are skipped
Has someone else dealt with something similar? Is there a way to import any email in the inbox or can we with confidence setup a secondary import to the same mailbox and configure the second import folder as able@home.com/Inbox?
Thank you
