M-Files Desktop - Disable un-encrypted connections on server side

Question

Currently we use TCP/IP protocol for M-Files Desktop clients connecting to the server. We would like to prevent users from connecting to the M-Files server with the option "Enforce encrypted connection" unchecked. I'm aware that this could be done via group policy, but our users are in general allowed to attach vaults by hand, so we are looking for a server side solution. 
 Is there a server configuration option that would prevent clients connecting without encryption?

There's a registry setting that should help with that: see section 2.4 in Protecting Data in Transit in M-Files . 
 The same section also contains this information: "Note that even if the "Enforce encrypted connection" option has been disabled in the Document Vault Connection Properties dialog, M-Files still attempts to establish an encrypted connection and only if establishing an encrypted connection is unsuccessful, will an unencrypted connection be used." 
 So even if users forget to check this option, the connection will be encrypted anyway in many, if not all, cases.
