️ Review M-Files on Gartner Peer Insights
Gartner Peer Insights is an online platform for reviews and ratings of IT software and services. It helps business and IT leaders make more insightful purchase decisions and helps technology providers improve their products by receiving objective unbiased feedback from their customers.
Gartner has started their initial research process for a new Magic Quadrant and Critical Capabilities for Document Management, and M-Files has been initially selected for review! Gartner analysts will leverage relevant Gartner Peer Insights reviews.

Gartner does not publish reviews from individuals who are:
- Employed by M-Files
- Employed by an M-Files competitor
- Affiliated with organizations that have an exclusive relationship with the product being reviewed (e.g., exclusive partners, resellers, value-added resellers, system integrators, consultants, etc.)
Additionally, ratings from M-Files partners do not impact the overall ratings and are excluded from Gartner's reports.
Tips to getting your review approved:
- Make sure you have an identifiable corporate email address that matches the stated employer — i.e., FirstName.LastName@org.com — or log in via your LinkedIn account. The Gartner team evaluates the reviewer’s name, company, and work email to be consistent based on information provided. They also look for a credible online presence of the reviewer and their company.
- Provide a high-quality, honest, and thorough review in English:
- Reviews must highlight specific and relevant user experiences related to the product being reviewed or its specific features. Gartner does not approve reviews that contain generic comments or focus solely on the vendor.
- Include more than one descriptive input based on specific user experience.
- Summarize your experience and provide insight into the overall rating submitted in the Review headline.

*When do you receive your incentive for leaving a review?
The customer receives their incentive after the review has been vetted and approved by our moderation team, not when their review is submitted. It takes Gartner Peer Insights anywhere from 3-10 business days to fully moderate and approve a review. After the review is approved, the customer will receive an email with steps to redeem their incentive. The customer can check the status of their review at any point within their User Profile. If the review is not approved, the customer will not receive an incentive.
How to check the status of your review?
- Go into your profile and see the status of your review. A review cannot be edited while In Moderation.
- You can also look for the rejection email that you would have received from the Gartner team to identify next steps.
- If you have a concern regarding your review, reach out to Gartner by clicking on the Contact Support button in the Your Reviews section of your profile. You can also email your End User Support Team at peerinsights@gartner.com for assistance.
