We have identified an issue with the M-Files Online 24.12 (24.12.14341.5) server release. The issue manifests itself in a situation where a user is required to use electronic signing on an object. If the user does not sign the object within 20 seconds, the process times out, and an error is produced.
A fix has been prepared and will be delivered to affected customers through automatic updates during an additional service break. To minimize disruption, the service break will occur during nighttime hours based on each region's server schedule. During the update, the service may be briefly unavailable, typically for a few minutes.
Am I affected?
You are affected only if you are on our monthly update schedule in M-Files Cloud, with the Electronic Signatures module enabled.
On-premises customers are not impacted, and the downloads available starting tomorrow, December 18th, will already include the fix.
What do I need to do?
No action is required on your part. The updates for affected environments will be automatically deployed by M-Files.
This post will be updated as server upgrades are rolled out.
