We have released a new major release of the M-Files for DocuSign integration application version 3.0.3.
What is M-Files for DocuSign
The M-Files integration for DocuSign allows customers to digitally sign documents using the DocuSign cloud service. Documents that are managed in M-Files can be sent for a secure and legally binding e-signature using the DocuSign cloud service.
What's new with M-Files for DocuSign?
This is a new major version supporting OAuth and DS Express Signature type has been replaced with DS Email. There are a few bugfixes as well, those are detailed in the change log available in the M-Files Solution Catalog.
The signature type change does not require configuration changes.
The OAuth is another story. DocuSign will stop supporting basic user authentication after March 2023: https://www.docusign.com/blog/developers/docusign-api-basic-user-password-authentication-retirement. This will cause the integration to stop working until is updated and the OAuth is taken into use. It will require manual steps from the M-Files administrator. The steps are listed in the installation guide, which can be found via the M-Files Solution Catalog.
What are the impacts if the integration is not updated?
The M-Files-DocuSign integration will stop working, that is, end-users will not be able to send documents for signing to DocuSign.
Where can I get it?
The application is available in the M-Files Solution Catalog: M-Files for DocuSign | M-Files Catalog
