Welcome to M-Files Hubshare August 2025 Product Update,
We are always committed to enhancing our platform to provide the best user experience possible.
M-Files Hubshare Release
As the follow up of our previous announcement New M-Files Hubshare version is coming in September 2025 we are pleased to announce the new Hubshare version 25.8. First change to notice, we change our product version numbering to follow other M-Files product convention, and now onward, we will use the Year.Month formatting.
On top of it, this version is a first pivot in the Hubshare journey, and we are super excited to release it to our customers.
Hubshare Gets Smarter, Simpler, and More Accessible
We're thrilled to announce a series of impactful updates to Hubshare that improve accessibility, simplify user experience, and enhance integration with M-Files. These changes are designed to help our customers and partners collaborate more effectively and securely across platforms.
Streamlining the Experience: Deprecation of Standalone Features
We’re retiring standalone Hubshare modules (File, Project, Calendar, People) to focus on fully integrated experiences with M-Files. This simplifies our offering and eliminates confusion for users.
This update lays the foundation for the future, offering the most robust, scalable, and seamless integration with M-Files. It is designed to enable effortless collaboration with all stakeholders in your business.

Accessibility First: WCAG AA Compliance
Hubshare is now compliant with WCAG 2.0 Level AA, making our platform more inclusive for users with disabilities. This is especially important for public sector clients, where accessibility is a key requirement.
Embedded Hubshare: Powering External Portals
Hubshare can now be embedded into platforms like Salesforce, allowing external vendors and clients to access M-Files content directly within their existing portals.
The below image illustrates a typical example of a Hub being embed in a Salesforce web page. The opportunities are unlimited, and we are looking forward seeing the first customer implementations of this powerful possibility.
Faster Hub Creation with a New Wizard
Creating a hub is now as simple as naming it and choosing a template. All further settings can be configured within the hub itself, speeding up setup and reducing complexity.
Smarter Search Results in Widgets
Search results are now ordered by relevance score, ensuring users see the most pertinent documents first—based on metadata, access frequency, and keyword presence.
Flexible Authentication with SSO Enhancements
Admins can now choose whether new users can log in with passwords when SSO is enabled, offering more control over authentication policies.
Improved Pagination and Saved Preferences
Pagination options have been updated to 20, 50, and 100 items per page. User preferences are saved automatically, ensuring a consistent experience across sessions and widgets.
These updates mark a significant step forward in making Hubshare more accessible, integrated, and user-friendly. We’re committed to continuous improvement and welcome your feedback.
